MP is mounted in a moulded steel housing. The MP's housing design provdes for its installation (glueing) on main pipeline's surface with 325–1420 mm diameter. For this purpose the housing's surface to be glued is designed as a concave one being approximate to the external pipe surface's radius. There are three copper temperature-sensitive elements (CTSE) with unique sensor curve (USC 100М) according to GOST 6651-94 (one of them – operating, two elements – duplicating). The duplicating CTSEs are intended for evaluation of reliability of temperature measurement by operating CTSE and they used if the operating CTSE fails.
