The system consists of:

• a doser comprising an odorant purification unit, a pump and feed sensor;

• odorant storage working block (for some version, see table);

• verification tank ITsFR.494529.001 used for on-line control of odorization precision (supplied individually based on data sheet).

AGOS explosion-proofness

AGOS has explosion-proof design:

• electronic control unit [Exic] IIА;
• doser 2ExdIIAT6, 2ExicIIAT6;
• level sensor 2ExicIIAT6.

System capabilities in emergency conditions

The system can generate the following signals: “Alarm” (general signal), “connection lost”, “no feed”, “The level is below the preset one”, “back up power supply” (while witching to backup power supply). In case of the supply voltage failure, the system’s equipment is fed by a backup power supply without loss of function. When a dozer is operated manually the pulses frequency for the odorant supply is set using a keyboard of indicating device’s module. If a signal entering from a computer – gas flowmeter is lost, the system carries out odorization at the previous gas flow rate. Alarm messages are accompanied by audible alarms. If the system undergoes maintenance it is possible to carry out odorization using a dropper.

Testing at the facilities of: AGOS operates at the facilities of Gazpromtransgaz, Nizhny Novgorod since 2001, AGOS underwent exploratory tests in 2002 and it is in batch production since 2003.
